MBSR is a technique that supports the addition of calming the client’s mind and body while holding space to recognize emotion and any connected physical responses to stressors. This awareness creates the opportunity to invite a new pattern, including removing judgment, the need to act immediately creating an opportunity to respond to stressors in a way that is supportive of the client’s needs.

This gentle trauma-informed yoga session restores harmony in the systems of the body while decreasing pain, stiffness, and inflammation. Over time your body learns to naturally activate its own relaxation response, whereby your system lets go of held chronic tension. This therapy uses supportive props and gentle movements, practiced from a prone or side-lying position where you are supported in freeing your breath, releasing tension and soothing your nervous system.
