To release stress and live a life of wellness we have to begin to understand the complexity of the relationship between stress and illness. The susceptibility to stress varies from person to person; not all stress has negative effect on our mind yet our body handles all stress as the same. While studies have shown that short-term stress boosted the immune system, chronic stress has a significant effect on the immune system that ultimately manifests an illness.
Together we will learn how stress builds in our mind and body and how un-answered stress leads to burnout and illness. We will identify our own stress triggers, and create strategies to re-pattern our responses.
- 7 hours in class and 1 hour individual coaching session (can be split into 2 x 30 min sessions)
- This workshop has pre-work of approximately 10 mins per day for 2 weeks
